Delete your TallyHopp account

You can delete your account and its data at any time, in the app or by email.

In the app

Open TallyHopp and tap the profile icon on the Trips screen.
Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
Confirm. You are signed out and the account is deleted straight away.

Settle up first: the app asks you to clear what you owe or are owed in each trip, and to hand over any trip you own that has other members, so your friends' balances stay right.

By email

If you no longer have the app, email support@tallyhopp.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my TallyHopp account". We will confirm and delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your sign-in and email address.
Your payment QR codes.
Your Plan with AI chats.
Feedback you sent, and its screenshots.
Your place in every trip, and any trip with no one else in it, with all its bills, receipts and plans.
The copy of your trips on your phone.

What stays

Bills, payments and plans you shared with other people belong to their trips too, so they stay for the other members, with your name shown as "your name (deleted)". Nothing else about you is kept.
